‘Hiroshima mon amour’ is a dialogue between the striking landscape of the Oesterdam in the Zeeland province of the Netherlands and the script of one of the most famous and innovative French films, written by Marguerite Duras.

In this no-man’s-land between ebb and flow, between worlds lost and found, a very particular sensual and audiovisual experience takes place. The viewer gazes at the enormity of the location. At the same time, he or she listens via headphones to an intimate account of an impossible love. Of a quest for the past. About two people in a desperate struggle between forgetting and being forgotten.
